Common questions

What can the AI actually do?

Everything the editor does happens through chat: build reels from your photos and clips, add music with smart trimming, generate word-timed captions (including song lyrics), create and style text overlays, apply cinematic looks and transitions, generate images (from text or from your own photos as references), generate voiceover narration, undo/redo, manage projects, and export. You can also just ask it — "what can you do?" gets a current answer.

How do I make my first video?

Tap + in the message box to upload photos or clips (your camera roll works on mobile), then say what you want — for example: "Make a 15-second Instagram reel from these photos with upbeat captions." The AI builds it, checks its own work, and shows you a preview card you can tap to play. Hit Export when you like it.

How do I refer to a specific photo or clip?

Two ways: attach it — the picture icon next to the message box opens a picker, and anything you attach is exactly what the AI uses — or describe it ("the beach photo"). Images you upload are automatically described by AI so natural references work even when the filename is IMG_4271.

What do tokens pay for, and what do things cost?

Tokens meter the AI work. Rough costs: a full reel built from your own media runs about 10-15K tokens; a generated image about 10K (30K for pro quality); voiceover about 1.5K for a short script; captioning about 1K per minute of audio; AI video clips (paid plans) 50K+ per 8 seconds. Free accounts get 100K tokens each month; exporting and sharing feedback are free. The $ button shows your balance.

How do captions and lyrics work?

Say "add captions" or "put the lyrics on screen." The audio is transcribed with per-word timing, so styles like kinetic (word-by-word) and karaoke highlighting land on the beat. Each song is transcribed once and cached — re-styling captions later is free.

Can it generate images, voiceover, or video from scratch?

Yes. Images from a text description, or conditioned on your own photos ("put my product on a beach"). Voiceover narration in six voices, with the script saved as a transcript. True AI video clips (Veo) are available on paid plans — the AI will always confirm the cost with you before generating one.

What are saved styles?

When the AI composes a look you like — fonts, colors, effects, caption style, motion — ask it to save the style (it will also offer after custom-styled builds). Saved styles live under Assets → Styles and can be applied to any future project by name: "make it in my Neon Drop style."

Can I undo something the AI did?

Yes. A checkpoint is saved before every AI turn. Say "undo that" in chat, or use the undo/redo arrows next to the message box.

How do I get my video out?

The Export button in the header renders your composition to MP4 and downloads it; every past export also lives in the Exports tab. Generated images and audio have download buttons right on their chat previews and in the asset details.

What is the reviews page?

Each account can share one finished creation — with a rating and message — on the public reviews page (shown with your first name and last initial, after approval). Look for the star on Exports, "Share a review" on an asset, or just ask the AI. Optionally, you can also allow Code350 to feature your creation on social channels.

Are there file limits?

Images up to 25MB (large photos are automatically optimized on upload), audio up to 100MB, video up to 500MB. Up to 10 attachments per message.
